Oceanside Civic Center Library

As classes begin to have a kick the deeper we get into the semester, it’s always important to take some time to destress and stay in tune with your mental health. A great way to find tranquility in all the chaos is to visit your local library. Grab a coffee, check out a book you’ve always wanted to read, or stroll down shelves and find a cover that catches your eye.

However, this public resource involves a lot of dedication and hard work by the people behind the scenes, who make this oasis of stories possible. Acknowledging this, El Camino Key Club decided to lend a helping hand. Every first Saturday of the month, we offer a volunteer opportunity at Oceanside Civic Center Library for a group of Key Clubbers to come and participate in housekeeping tasks such as shelving books, wiping down desks, etc. It’s a great, productive way to kick off your weekend, and a MAJOR help to everyone who utilizes the library. Thank you to everyone who came in September! <3D37W OLV 1 Brennan Ray
