PB&J Sandwich Making

While we only had one event in the month of May, we are very proud of what we accomplished through the PB&J sandwich making. Key Club members sat in table groups and worked together to produce delicious sandwiches. Not to worry, all participants made sure to slather on a good amount of jelly and peanut butter! Our creations were given to Saint Elizabeth Church, which distributes these sandwiches to those in need. During the activity, members were able to mingle and chat with people they may have never met. Once the sandwiches were done, we slipped them into Ziploc bags for distribution. In addition to the meals, we also wrote cheerful messages on sticky notes for the recipients. We hope that in our small way, we helped to nourish those who may not have access to food. Our members always love this event, so we will be sure to host it again in the future.
