UNO-TC

JN, Kalaheo, D22K

On June 28th, Kalaheo Key Club officers attended the 2025 Key Club Officer Training Conference (OTC) where a total of 9 Key Clubs from the Komohana division came together to meet! This year’s OTC was held at Castle High School, and offered our club a unique opportunity to meet fellow officers, share ideas, and connect with Key Clubs from other schools. On this day, we did fun icebreakers and attended breakout sessions tailored to each officer role. As someone who took part in this experience, I received a lot of valuable advice that will definitely help me in the long run for this year! Key Clubs also got the chance to participate in a scavenger hunt where we did things such as take pictures and interact with other clubs. The most notable part of OTC was UNO-TC, where we played the Key Club spin of Uno and got to race each other. This year, the Key Club editors (myself included!) claimed victory in UNO-TC and won special edition trading cards as a fun prize! We wrapped up the 2025 OTC with a one-hour campus beautification project for Castle High School, where officers came together to pull weeds, pick up litter, and more. Doing the very thing Key Club stands for was definitely the best way to end the day. Kalaheo Key Club’s current executive board is incredibly grateful for the chance to meet and connect with all the other clubs. Thanks to the OTC, we left feeling prepared to do our best for this year’s Key Club.
