On Monday, July 15th, Division 19 North and the Kiwanis strengthened Kiwanis family bonds by having a joint DCM. All Kiwanis and Division 19 North members gathered at the Lomita Harbor Kiwanis Hall. Before the event, the Division 19 North members helped set up by making a balloon arch and registering people. Lieutenant Corey Umamoto began the meeting by introducing DLT members at the event and gave time for both the Kiwanis members and the Division 19 North members to eat. Afterward, all past and future events were discussed between everyone, and the night off announced raffle winners, silent auction winners, and the 50/50 drawing winner. It was a good experience for both the Division 19 North members and the Kiwanis to be able to communicate in person and build up our bonds.
