Pinoy Pride

The event was so fun! We were mostly tasked with helping clean up tables, but I was also tasked with helping carry the baby Jesus statue (also known as Santo Nino) across the festival during the parade! It was heavy and my arm did hurt a bit, but all in all, it was great! Besides that, the food was really good. Me and a few people shared drinks and definitely got our money’s worth with getting free refills from the stand! We also bought Hawaiian and Filipino food with our free food vouchers! Also, there were really good performances there! The main ones I saw were 4th Impact, a Filipina group, and Vice Ganda! Overall, I can’t wait for the next time Pinoy Pride rolls around and will definitely volunteer again!
