Welcome Cards
KB, Covina, D35E
For the special event of making welcome cards for the Class of 2028, the Covina Key Club met on August 23rd. From right after 7th period until 4:50 PM, we worked diligently and got creative, putting our hearts into each card. The atmosphere was full of excitement as we made personalized notes to make the new freshmen feel welcome and supported. It wasn't just about crafting; rather, it was to send our welcoming gestures in support, and for the newcomers to feel welcome even before coming to school. We laughed, shared ideas, and made sure each card had a message of kindness and joy. Chloe Martel, our secretary said,”It was calming just writing encouraging words and doodling for the freshman.” Thanks to everyone who joined in, we’re confident that these cards will bring big smiles and a sense of belonging to the Class of 2028.
