Colorsplash

Region 7's Colorsplash was held at Verdugo Skate Park on August 10 from 12 to 3 PM. There was a great concoction of attendees from different divisions of Region 7, which was nice to see. Among the attendees were people from North Hollywood, Burbank, Eagle Rock, and more. The event was filled with icebreakers, Colorsplash (the main activity), and pieing the LTGs in Region 7. Key Club has held several wonderful events so far, but Colorsplash is one of my favorites. The icebreaker activity was also something I really liked. The LTGs had everyone write three facts about themselves on paper (you were not supposed to include your name), and then they mixed the papers to give everyone a random paper. Afterwards, you had to figure out to whom the original paper belonged. Activities such as these provide a unique opportunity to interact with other people, especially those from other divisions.
