Club Rush

October was the official start for Key Club this year! The O’Farrell Charter school hosted our  school’s annual Club Rush, and this year it was on September 13th, 2022. At our booth, we used posters, candies, and even a bubble blower to draw the attention of all. The event was a huge success, and we had around 100 sign ups, from students of all grades! Later on in the month, the O’Farrell Key Club hosted its first official club meeting of the 2022-23 school year. This meeting was held on September 23, 2022, in our club advisor’s room. A slide show was presented to welcome new members and returners from last year’s meetings alike. The presentation introduced these members to not only the ‘22-’23 officer board, but also  upcoming service projects, the basics of what Key Club is, and how to officially join the club. With the room being filled with around 42 eager students (the majority of them being underclassmen), our president, Jocelyn Quiroz told the board, “Good work guys! I consider this meeting a success!”
