Murdy Moon Festival
GT, La Quinta, D04N
On September 9th, Key Clubbers got to participate in Murdy Elementary’s Mid Autumn Festival! It was a fun-filled evening with lots of students and parents! We got to help with various jobs and stations such as food, lanterns, games, and more. My friends and I were in charge of food where we served pizza and helped run the food booth. We were able to help parents and children by selling different refreshments to celebrate the festival. After, there was a performance with students and also a Lion Dance. The volunteers and staff then helped gather up everyone for a lantern walk, where students got to walk around the school campus with their lanterns that they made and also purchased to finally close off the night. Overall, the event was very lively and also fun! We got to help out with a great community and also have fun with the other volunteers.
