THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND

The grant is for club projects, NOT division events; events for DCMs do not qualify for the grant.

Focus on projects that let you carry out actual service and not just fundraisers alone.

ELABORATE – show action impact language.  Make it “fluffy”.

Examples of YOF Grant Projects

Cloverdale Key Club of Division 32 was one of the three YOF Grant recipients in 2013. The members began a project known as “Doctor Dolls”, bought cloth, stuffed the dolls, sewed them, and delivered them to the Oakland’s Children Hospital. They “fronted” the money and then received reimbursment from the YOF Grant.
